We made another visit to the lovely Dun Vegan Keep with one of our June brides. The weather was simply gorgeous and the bride was too! I decided to go a little more fashion-style with this one, so I can’t wait to see how the bride responds to the images when we present them to her.
We will see Jennifer and Devin again at the Vista on Steward Hill in June.
Well, we took a much deserved vacation last weekend for Easter and went back home to Louisiana. We’re pretty fortunate in that we get to go back every Easter and my extended family throws a crawfish boil for us.
It’s usually pretty warm, too, EXCEPT for this time! It was miserable! It was in the upper 40′s the entire time and we saw off-and-on sleet! The worst thing is that the crawfish got cold within 5 minutes of them hitting the newspaper (that what we use for tablecloths in Louisiana)!
So, I didn’t eat as much, so I’ll have to try again next year. Fortunately for us, there’s an awesome Cajun restaurant that’s right down the road called Cypress Grill, and their food makes me feel somewhat closer to my ‘home’.
Lastly, I always take a cool crawfish shot every year, and I’m really happy with this one.
We decided to make a little trip to the Arboretum and go take advantage of the nice Spring greenery. We had a pretty laid back time with this easy-going couple. They were a bit concerned because the sun wasn’t out and it was very cloudy, but I think you’ll see some beautiful images below that proved it did not matter.
The one thing I couldn’t get over was they giggled almost the entire time – it was so cute! It’s always great to see yet another couple that were so relaxed behind the camera.
We’ll see this couple again in May at Avery Ranch and at Bella Notte. By the looks of things, I think Mark will have no problem at all bringing Katie over the threshold on their wedding night –
