Well, there is a website that can take pictures that you submit and can create a bobblehead of yourself – check this site out:
I was at the Apple store the other day checking out the new ipods. I watched one of the sample videos on the video ipod and thought I had to share this with other folks because it was just so funny. I laughed so hard that I cried!
While modern photography can be trendy and cool, I try to shy away from some of the extreme effects that some photographers do. This includes textures and such. We love colorful images that tell a story. We often take portraits, too, but we try to keep them so that they will capture the moment, while standing the test of time. It’s funny because wedding dresses AND tuxedo’s REALLY do show the age of images sometimes. For example, strapless dresses are in style now, but they are actually starting to phase out on the West and East Coast (Austin tends to be last in changes of style for wedding attire and wedding photography style).
Olan Mills was a huge portrait studio when I was a kid, and my parents brought me there for portraits when I was a child. Some of my portraits look like these:

I wanted to laugh at many of these. I just can’t get over how some of the men who are posed LOOK so feminine because of the pose! Don’t laugh too hard at these – I’m sure that you all some of these in your closet somewhere! My hope is that our portraits don’t look as dated 20-30 years from now as these do.
We made another fun trip over to Pennypacker Bridge. It’s funny how some girls sometimes do the ‘hook em horns’ with their hands without knowing it. Kendra did this, too. We had some beautiful weather that afternoon even though a recent cold front had come in.
Beth is known as my ‘prize-winning bride’. Everytime she goes to the Bridal Extravaganza, she wins big with the end-of-the-day contests. She and her man are big football fans, and I hated pulling them away for this session because they missed the Cowboys game vs. the Eagles. Well, thanks to Jessica Simpson, the Cowboys lost –

I was hired recently to be an event photographer at a recent local computer company’s Christmas party for their executives. Well, their headquarters are local, but they do business internationally. I think they employ around 18000 folks from the Austin area and surrounding suburbs.
