It’s a little slow and boring at first, but I nearly died laughing at the end – especially the ‘billy the kid’ part!

We made a fun trip to First United Methodist Church and to the Westwood County Club. It was great to catch up with the Doss family again since I photographed part of Jessica’s sisters wedding a few years back in the same church. The weather was slightly overcast, but wasn’t too terribly cold and we only saw a couple of sprinkles.
I really loved how Jessica and Matt were able to enjoy the day without hardly any stress. The ceremony was full of music, just like Jessica wanted, and I was the only person to see them for a few minutes right after they were pronounced ‘man and wife’ and I can really tell that they are in love for the long haul.
We then were wisked off to Westwood Country Club and had a delicious meal and the place was decorated for an elegant gala event. Jessica and Matt even were able to share their own private first dinner together in a romantic room all to their own. We then went and danced the night away, and boy, did we have some dancers! I even saw someone’s grandma on the floor ‘boogeying’ down!
The band was great and the food was delicious! YUM!
We had a great time capturing the day and we wish the very best for this couple!
Here’s a cool angle that my assistant photographer HJ captured.

My 2nd shooter caught this awesome image.

Finally after almost two years, I had the chance to catch my breath and get a new website, new color scheme and new marketing approach done. It took so long to get all of the awesome images selected and resized for the website, but I am SO excited now! Thanks to all of our previous clients for choosing us to capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments that we are now able to see on the website.
The folks over at livebooks are so awesome to work with, and I’m glad we have a website where our images are SO HUGE and COLORFUL and we now get to really show our customers our true style and how we approach the wedding day!
We recently captured a wedding with Kersten and Jeff back in May, and they had some awesome wedding coordinators working with Lindy and the girls from 36th Street Weddings. I was getting the creative juices flowing, and I thought I would create a fun ad for them. They are a lot of fun to work with and they were definitely on the ball.
Now that I think about it, we could probably use the same ad for us, too! It was interesting for me, the guy photographer, to go and hang out in the ladies’ room.
