We now have a new super-trooper in our midst! We did a bridal session out in 100 degree heat – and the bride lived to talk about it AND she still looked stunning! I was again blown away by how beautiful this gal looked in her dress. Adam is going to be so excited to see how awesome she’s going to look when he sees her coming down the aisle for the first time.
We originally planned to go to Mayfield Park, but since it was so hot, I thought it was better that we go visit somewhere else. We settled on Vintage Villas, and it actually worked out really well. We did some inside and outside stuff.
I got to meet her mom, Mrs. Daphne, again and I got to meet her Dad, Mr. Ken. They also brought along their little dog, and I think it’s always fun to incorporate the people and things that are very important to each bride in the bridal session. Her Dad is also a photographer-by-hobby, and he and I talked a bit about camera gear. Their dog reminded of my childhood pet, because it was the same breed.
I wish we could have spent more time here because the lighting was so awesome again, but because of the heat and lack of shade, we only spent a couple of hours.
We’ll see this bride again in a couple of months! I’m so glad that she chose us to be their Austin Wedding Photographer.
Her mom did a great job of keeping the bride cooled down, too.
