Austin wedding photographer Hooked On Photography had the awesome opportunity to be invited to the Spring 2011 Open House at Vintage Villas. We got to hang with many of our favorite vendors, including Stephanie of Bouquets of Austin, Judy of Simon Lee Bakery and wedding cakes (their chocolate ganache cakes are to DIE for) and Becky with Pearl Events of Austin. My personal favorite rental vendor of choice,Premier Party Rentals, offered some beautiful pink and teel-blue accents and linens.

I just can’t believe how green and lush they are able to keep the grounds at Vintage Villas despite the lack of rain this last winter. Why can’t my yard be this green? From the many images, you can tell that all sorts of flowers are in full bloom. I was really impressed with how lush the arbor (secondary ceremony site) was and how many flowers cover the entire area.

Rehearsal dinners are always fun to capture. We went to go capture Tracy and Garrett’s rehearsal dinner at the Captain’s Quarters at the Yacht club at the Horseshoe Bay Resort. Stephanie Barrow of Bouquets of Austin is going to provide the florals for her wedding.

Andrea and I went to Dunvegan Keep to capture some beautiful and priceless portraits. She will be getting married at Vintage Villas, and she chose Stephanie Barro of Bouquets of Austin for her florals and her yummy cake will be baked by Michelle’s Patisserie.

One of the nice things about getting married at Vintage Villas is that you get to use their facilities for a bridal session complimentary. Lindsay is getting married to Preston at Vintage Villas. Christie started off the day at her main-of-honor’s home, while Nick started off the day at the Stephen F. Austin Intercontinental Hotel. Then, we moved over to the ceremony at Central Christian Church of Austin. We then went over to party at the Austin Club. Stephanie with Bouquets of Austin did a fabulous job with the decoral arrangements, too!

lizzy and ryan’s wedding at vintage villas in austin, texas

We had a fun wedding with Lizzy and Ryan, and it was our first wedding with a real-live fireworks show! Barbara Hearne of Barbara’s Brides did an OUTSTANDING job with keeping everything on time and taking care of all of the details of the day. It was our first time working with her, and it was great to see her and her team in action. Their wedding ceremony and reception were at Vintage Villas. We had the best meal there for a wedding – I think it must have been Filet Mignon. Stephanie with Bouquets of Austin created a very elaborate flower design. Simon Lee did an awesome job with their cake, too! Last but now least, but Mike Rinehart was a funny and entertaining officiant.
