From a recent wedding at Vintage Villas in Austin, Texas, I just found that our recent winner of the Knot Real Weddings was also talked about on their blog. Petal Pushers did an awesome job with the flowers and decorations for the wedding, and Simon Lee baked a yummy cake.

Latest The Knot Real Weddings – Texas Edition

I just received the latest copy of the The Knot’s Real Weddings – Texas Edition magazine, and I was excited to see that we had one of our previous weddings featured in the magazine, as well as some vendors are using images from some of our previous weddings. If you go to page 86, you will see a real Texas Wedding with Jen and Steve. This was a wedding that we captured back in December of 2008. We were honored that the Knot asked us to provide images from this awesome wedding at Vintage Villas! Stacey with Petal Pushers did an amazing job with the flowers, and Judy with Simon Lee baked a tasty cake!

You will see our images used in advertisements for Vista West Ranch, Vintage Villas and Bella Sera Wedding Planners.

Terrace Club | Open House Sep 2009 | Highlights

Wow! Another awesome open house! The place was packed full of people at the Open House for The Terrace Club. Again, I captured some work done by Matty Cakes and their peanut-butter and chocolate cake IS TO DIE FOR! Petal Pushers did a superb job with the flowers as always, and Amazing Ice Designs displayed a cool ice sculpture that kept the wine chilled. Here’s some of the highlights. At the very end, you’ll see an awesome portrait of the three gals who keep The Terrace Club looking it’s best – Hunter, Kristen and Ashley.

Mary Jane and Mike started off the day at one of my favorite places for BBQ, the Salt Lick in Dripping Springs, Texas near Austin, Texas. It was beautiful day and the temperatures were mild. Stacey Hogge of Petal Pushers did an awesome job with the flowers.

Amanda and Jake wanted to take advantage of the 2-3 week annual window of bluebonnets in Austin for their engagement session. We had a hard time finding bluebonnets this year because of the lack of rain, but we found some great patches. We also captured some fun portraits over at the Lady Bird Wildflower Center. It’s great that Lady Bird Wildflower Center allows you to use their awesome facility for free if you are going to have your wedding there. I’m excited that we will get to work with Bethany of 36th Street Wedding Planners again, Stacey Hogge from Petal Pushers, and awesome lighting from Ilios Lighting.

lizzy and ryan’s wedding at vintage villas in austin, texas

We had a fun wedding with Lizzy and Ryan, and it was our first wedding with a real-live fireworks show! Barbara Hearne of Barbara’s Brides did an OUTSTANDING job with keeping everything on time and taking care of all of the details of the day. It was our first time working with her, and it was great to see her and her team in action. Their wedding ceremony and reception were at Vintage Villas. We had the best meal there for a wedding – I think it must have been Filet Mignon. Stephanie with Bouquets of Austin created a very elaborate flower design. Simon Lee did an awesome job with their cake, too! Last but now least, but Mike Rinehart was a funny and entertaining officiant.

Wow! What a fun night! The place was decorated so beautiful at the Open House for Vista West Ranch. I captured some more work done by Petal Pushers. As always, they did a superb job not only with the flowers, but they also decorated the barn in elegant rustic attire. One of the owners of Vista West Ranch, Cindy Pearson, is doing an awesome job of recovering from cancer treatment and I took a beautiful portrait of her below. Here’s some of the hightlights.

Open House at the Terrace Club in dripping springs, texas

austin wedding guide’s bridal extravaganza show

We had an overwhelming response to our new booth setup on Saturday, and we got to meet with a lot of new couples at the Austin Wedding Guide’s Bridal Extravaganza show at the Austin Convention Center on January 10th.

It was great to walk around and see our work portrayed not only in our booths, but in many of the vendors that we have worked with in the past year, such as Vintage Villas, The Terrace Club, Vista West Ranch, Wildflower Cakes, Lakeway Resort and Spa, Kindred Oaks, Arbor Pointe Event Center, Bella Notte on Main, and Amanda Pye of Austin Makeup Design. Barr Mansion also has a display album, but since it’s so big, they left it back at the Mansion, so future clients can check it out there.

Thanks SO MUCH to Signs Express for printing my new banners so fast and for Stacey Hogge from Petal Pushers for providing the AWESOME flower arrangement for my booth!
