What a phenomenal game! What a surprising finish! We were down by 10 points or less the enire game, and came back in the 4th quarter to win the game! I couldn’t believe the gutsy play-calling that our coach, Les Miles, was doing. We made 5 4th down conversions on the last drive, and this game was a nailbiter! We are also now unanimously ranked #1 in both polls. What an exciting time for LSU football.
I stated ’6.5-0′ because the win felt like we won 1 and 1/2 games! Florida is a tough team to beat! I will give Florida a lot of credit – they are truly an awesome team and I hope we don’t have to play them again. As long as Tennessee or South Carolina do not lose any more SEC games, then we will play one of those two teams for the SEC Championship.
Now, I’m REALLY looking towards Jan. 7th, 2008 – BCS National Championship in New Orleans!
Now, to all of my Texas friends. I’m really sorry to hear about your loss. I know the team fought hard, and it was a close game with OU. There’s a lot of football left to play, so you don’t know what could happen in the future.
